"I put turbo/super-charger on my vehicle, but Dynojet does not make a PTI unit for my vehicle model (and/or, I already have a standard PC5 unit). Please help!"
You can add any 0-5 volt boost signal input to the optional analog input on top of any PC5 module. If you have the sensor already, you just need to know the transfer function of that sensor (i.e. X voltage = Y pressure).
The PTI unit simply comes with its own MAP sensor prewired and the transfer function preconfigured in the PC5’s memory.
Once you have a 0-5 volt signal wired to the optional analog input on the PC5 (2nd hole from the outside edge, 6th hole from the main wiring harness). You need to enable the boost pressure input feature and enter the transfer function into the Pressure Configuration window of the PC5 software.
The next step is to add Pressure vs. RPM fuel and/or ignition tables to your map file. Once you add the new (pressure) tables, you can enter the desired number of columns in the table and the desired column headers of the table for the boost points that you want to make an adjustment at.
