Note for Windows 7 Users: Please enable windows updates and connect to the internet prior to following the directions below.
When the Power Vision CX is plugged into the computer for the first time, the computer may need to install driver packages for the device. This will happen automatically, but could take about a minute or so to install successfully. Windows 7 users should “Check For Windows Updates” after plugging the Power Vision CX for the first time.
After installation of the driver, the device should mount to your Windows computer as a USB drive with the name “POWERVISION”. Tune files can now be moved to and from the Power Vision CX device as you would with a USB memory stick or hard drive. Please note that the files saved on the POWERVISION drive should be limited to tune files and log files, as the more files on the device decrease the performance of locating the proper files when flashing a vehicle.
